The mission of the National Riding Stables Horse Rescue is to save distressed horses from abuse, neglect, and slaughter, and to place them in retirement homes as trail or companion horses.
Since our incorporation as a non-profit in 2018, we have rescued 44 horses and have adopted out 19 to permanent retirement homes.
There are many ways you can help us – including taking one of our award-winning Licensed Battlefield Guided horse tours of Gettysburg National Military Park on one of our gentle, well-trained horses that we have saved from starvation, neglect or abuse. PORTIONS OF YOUR RIDE FEE ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Your donations of time and funds are also greatly appreciated.
